2018 Living Healthier Expo at The Foothills

Mark your calendars/ Save the date!

April 6-7 2018

The Otsego County Department of Health is hosting the 2018 Living Healthier Expo at The Foothills Performing Arts Center in Oneonta April 6-7.  Through the generous support of Leatherstocking Collaborative Health Partners, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, and NYCM Insurance we will bring together area resources and experts to provide our community with the knowledge to live healthier, live better, and live longer.

Topics will include Rabies awareness, Lyme disease prevention, chronic disease management and prevention, mental health awareness, and resources for chronic pain control and substance abuse.

Join us to celebrate National Public Health Week. There will be vendors offering information, free training, and free giveaways. Come out to win one of the several bicycles that will be given away courtesy of NYCM Insurance.

The auditorium will feature area experts presenting topics that directly impact your health and safety. Friday's event schedule will accommodate elementary school class trips in the morning session and high school class trips in the afternoon session. Class trip size is limited; call to schedule your school's class trip early.

The American Red Cross will be holding a blood drive both days. Please contact the Otsego County Department of Health to schedule your appointment to save a life/donate.
